Here is a mix of one-off produced projects or work that never quite made it.

Flambeaux Rapid X

First up is a branding project I did for a company called Flambeaux Rapid X. During the pandemic crisis in 2020, before vaccines, Flambeux developed groundbreaking mobile lab units to help create accurate and affordable testing. Our job—develop their brand from the ground up and introduce them. This included a logo, colors, font, an intro video and even a design for the mobile lab trucks.

MICROWN

For Black History Month, we wanted to bring attention to a startling fact. Only 5 states (five!) ban hair discrimination. So in 45 states you can be fired for wearing your hair in a way that employers find ‘inappropriate’. When we worked for CE, 2 of our 3 offices were in places with laws that protect against that discrimination, but one of our offices (Detroit) wasn’t. So we wanted to fix this.

Michigan’s law allowed employers to discriminate based on natural hair— and race-based hair discrimination disproportionately affects the Black community. Working with members of the Michigan Legislature, we created MIcrown. It supports Michigan House Bill 4811, law that will make discrimination illegal in hiring practices. This effort helped raise awareness and put pressure on representatives across the state.

Woman’s History Month - Internal

Here is an internal activations at CE that I worked on, that was put on hold due to Covid-19. For Women’s History Month we were going to create a giant puzzle, that we were going to film being put together across our 3 offices in Detroit, NY and LA. We wanted to not only make a statement for Women’s History Month, but create a piece that could live in each of our offices past those dates and speak to what woman experience.

Hardee’s

Worked on the “Hardee’s Cause it Tastes Better” campaign with this spot along with banners and some social.
